Video: How to Protect Your Computer From Malware

ESC LLC is concerned about the health of your computer. All too often the same computer that experiences a virus or malware issue is also the same computer that administers security for a company or a government facility, not to mention all the laptops and desktops at home. The subject of today's blog post is "Malware."

The definition of Malware, according to Wikipedia, is "any software used to disrupt computer operation, gather sensitive information, or gain access to private computer systems." The word itself is an abbreviated way of saying: malicious software.

The malware threat is well known by almost anyone who navigates the Internet. Most of us think of malware as entering a computer through email. Although this is correct, you also can download it by clicking on links on websites. No matter how you get it, when you have one, your life won't be the same until it's gone. In order to assist you in maintaining a clean and safe operating computer, be it personal, company, or government owned, ESC presents the following three videos on malware. The first two are for the average computer user where the last one is for those who are technically able and involved in the day-to-day care of computers.

Coming: How to Protect Your Computer From Malware

Through the years, we've all heard the term "malware." Most of us, however, do not understand the threat that malware poses to us and to our computers.
